An independent Android BlueSense replacement experiment for the Mahindra XUV500, built by studying the original app and its Bluetooth protocols. Real-car verification is still pending.
Status: EXPERIMENTAL
Android emulator captures at 1080 × 2400 with normal font scaling. Vehicle readings and connected controls shown here use the built-in demo; actual vehicle and head-unit behavior remain unverified.
I wanted an inspectable, maintainable way for XUV500 occupants to access vehicle, climate and media functions from Android, and a way to understand the protocol behind the original app.
Separated the legacy and newer BlueSense Bluetooth protocol paths from the Compose interface. Local decoder checks and a built-in demo support development before testing against a physical vehicle.
An experimental Android implementation with emulator screenshots and locally checked protocol decoding. Physical-vehicle behavior and control compatibility remain unverified.
Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Material 3, Bluetooth Classic
