Problem

Android kills background GPS aggressively — most ride trackers freeze, drift, or die mid-ride the moment the screen locks.

Approach

Built a native Kotlin dashboard around a foreground service architected to survive Doze and OEM battery managers. Speed and distance come from a filtered fused-location stream, so the numbers stay stable at speed instead of jittering.
